There comes a time in each of our lives when we stop and think, what if ....? We ponder on this two simple words and get overwhelmed by its many endings. Why? I'm really not sure. There may be so many reasons. What if I fail? What if I can't afford to do the things I can do now? What if it doesn't work? What if it's all temporary? So many "what if's" Why not just concentrate on the now and live for the day. Why ponder on tomorrow when we should be living and enjoying today.
Today, April 2nd is my parents' 52nd Anniversary and also the one year Anniversary of the passing of the son of a good friend. It's bitter sweet -- I'm happy because my parents celebrate yet another wonderful year together. I'm sad because a young man with so many goals and dreams is no longer here....today. As this young man put it so simply "God has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may never understand his wisdom, but we simply have to trust his will."
